See Golden Bra, Costs $10 Million

South African model Candice Swanepoel was the
woman chosen to wear one of Victoria’s Secret’s
notorious fantasy bras — lingerie usually adorned
with expensive jewels — during the underwear
company’s annual fashion show Wednesday night.
This year’s fantasy bra is the most expensive it’s
been since 2005. Designer Mouawad crafted the
$10 million 18-karat gold bra and belt embellished
with a 52-carat ruby, diamonds and sapphires.
The retailer’s usual lineup of lingerie models, known
as Angels, wore other fantastical creations, though
the fantasy bra is often considered the highlight of
the night. Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra
Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes
and others walked the runway Wednesday,
while Taylor Swift and Fall Out Boy performed.
