'I want Vincent Enyeama back, he's the kind of player we need - Gernot Rohr reveals

New Super Eagles technical adviser Gernot Rohr has revealed that he wants former Super Eagles goalkeeper and current Lille Osc goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama back with the national team.
Enyeama, 34, unceremoniously called time on his Super Eagles career on October 8, 2015 after a feud with former coach, Sunday Oliseh that eventually led to his captaincy being taken away from him and given to Ahmed Musa.
But Rohr, while speaking to journalists during his maiden pre-match press conference at Le Meridien hotel, Uyo said he knows Enyeama's quality having seen him shine for Lille in the last two seasons and wants him back in the squad.
“I asked about Enyeama when I signed because I know his qualities,” Rohr told media ahead of Tanzania’s game. I also spoke with the goalkeepers’ coach Alloy Agu and he spoke highly of him. I’ve called and spoken with Enyeama since my resumption but nothing is settled yet. I will see him after the Tanzania game because I saw him play in France and he’s the kind of player we need to help us move forward.”

Aero contractos, First Nation, are not folding up- NCAA says

Authorities at the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority NCAA have come out to debunk reports that airlines, Aero contractors and First Nation, were folding up. This rumor followed the suspension of operations by both airlines. The Director-General of the NCAA, Capt. Muhtar Usman, in a statement released today, said the decision for the airlines to suspend their operations was taken so as to ensure that they carried out the required maintenance of their aircrafts.
“The First Nation Airlines on its part is in the middle of an Engine Replacement Programme for one of its aircrafts. Another aircraft is due for mandatory maintenance as allowed by the regulatory authority.
In these circumstances, these airlines clearly cannot continue to undertake schedule operations, hence the inevitable recourse to self regulatory suspension.”
NCAA boss maintained that both airlines had not folded up but that they were “merely suspending their operations temporarily to enable them undertake certain operational overhaul and strengthen their overall operational outlay.”

Nigerian Air Force destroys new Boko Haram camp in Borno State, repel attack on troops

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), during a night operation conducted on Tuesday, successfully destroyed a new Boko Haram Terrorist (BHT) Camp located between Malam Fatori and Kangarwa in Northern Borno.

The new camp is about 4-6km away from the BHT location attacked earlier on 20 August 2016 by NAF Mi-17 helicopter within the same vicinity in a similar night operation that led to the death of about 300 insurgents. The post-strike Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) mission had revealed that surviving BHTs converged at the new location.

According to the Director, NAF Public Relations and Information, Group Captain Ayodele Famuyiwa, the information was later confirmed to be true by series of follow-up Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions that led to the latest strike.
Recall that the general area around Malam Fatori and Kangarwa is infested with BHTs hence the need to clear the remnants of BHT in the area. The air assault is therefore expected to further degrade the capability of the insurgents while fostering the creation of the necessary enablement for own ground troops to operate.

Donald Trump this morning took to Twitter to ask presidential rival Hillary Clinton to release her 'detailed' medical records saying he would also release his own

Trump has for some time now tried to portray Clinton as without sufficient stamina to serve as president but a Clinton campaign spokes person said Sunday night that Clinton "is the only candidate in the race who has met the standard expected of presidential candidates and provided a detailed medical letter by her long time physician."
"Donald Trump has put forward a laughable letter that omits basic health information including the date of his exam, past medications, family medical history, heart rate, respiratory rate, EKG, or cholesterol level. Instead of continuing to push discredited conspiracy theories, Donald Trump needs to produce a real doctor's letter, written by a credible doctor, that details the state of his health for voters," Glen Caplin said in a Clinton campaign statement .
Clinton recently addressed the claims off 'ill health' when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's show, calling it "part of the wacky strategy"
